ELM Poncho by Willow and Co

Do you know Willow & Co? It's the pattern company some amazing talented ladies gathered to offer great sewing patterns.

I was so excited to know that I could test some of their patterns from their newest, Wanderlust, a glamping collection. I knew they would be definitely awesome and I wasn't wrong!

This is ELM Raincoat by Celina from Petite a Petite and a family. Since we will move back to Japan inthis coming June, we definitely need to get raincoats for my kids. Because usually kids walk to their school even in rainy days (and June is rainy season in Japan)!

I will make another raincoat for A, but this time it is for T.

The pattern comes in size 6 months - 10/11 years old. It has an option for the visor, Chipmunk or Mouse ears. And you can add inseam pockets or/and patch pockets. It can be made lined or without lining.

Of course I just couldn't help adding these tiny ears on the hood.

I used laminated fabric (Sugar Hill by Tanya Whelan) and lined it with quilting cotton.

I really love the shape of this poncho. It's not simple circle, but has longer back and it makes this poncho so cute.

Also, I added patch pockets.

It was the perfect day for photoshooting this poncho today. Not so much rainning. But we even had some rain puddles...
