During KCW( Kids Clothes Week), I was so inspired by so many beautiful Geranium Dresses and Tops, so I got that pattern just after KCW. I guess most of you know, but just in case, Geranium Dress and Top pattern is downloadable PDF pattern and you can buy here.
This pattern is $10, and before, I wasn't sure that payed for that price. But after knowing about the pattern well like it has many options and reading many blogs that admire this pattern, I thought it would pay. And now, I'm convinced it payed!
Because this was my first challenge, I wanted it to be simple. I chose faux cap sleeves, pleated skirt and top length.( and I can't wait to make another one with flutter sleeves!) Sewing this pattern was so fun, fast and easy! Now I understand why many bloggers love this pattern. I love this too! This is really great pattern, well made, easy but finished one is so beautiful.
I used another NaniIro fabric which I ripped off from baby blanket. Oh, I'm in lovw with NaniIro.. It's beautiful, soft and comfy. If I find one on sale, maybe I can't help buying it :)-
Beautiful! Isn't it?
I used vintage buttons I just got from Etsy shop.
Looks great!
I will definitely make another Geranium soon.
Today was the last day of my daughters' school. So, I went to JoAnn and thrift shop for last minute shopping! I got some clothes and fabrics( like sheets and pillowcase :-D ), I'm so excited to do some refashion!

Beautiful dress. I have some Nani Iro fabric I bought before I had kids. It is black so I'm not sure I want to use it for my baby girl. I'm not sure why I bought black but it is beautiful fabric. I do want that pattern but I already have so so many dress patterns.
